S&MAN starts with film from Michael Powell's investigation of voyeurism, "Peeping Tom." Director JT Petty uses this recording as a beginning stage to look at the exemplary correlation amongst filmmaking and voyeurism, especially inside the frightfulness classification. He proceeds to research this association further, yet rather than looking to great thrillers, Petty investigates the shabby underground class of fixation films. These motion pictures are essentially mimicked snuff movies where casualties are assaulted and killed in an assortment of imagination situations. The most infamous of these is an arrangement called "S&Man," where voyeurism becomes the dominant focal point as individuals are unwittingly taken after with a camera. Insignificant dives recklessly into this universe of strange fixation movies, and thinks of hypnotizing interviews with the makers and performers of these films. A great part of the recording from these recordings will stun and bother even the most prepared ghastliness veteran.
